The setting here is nice as it is on the bayside and outdoor seating is available as long as you get there early enough to eat before they clear the deck. There were at least 6 different bachelorette parties there that night and all were having a great time. Music was very good and the crowd definitely enjoyed it. The crowds got larger after that time as people started coming in to dance to the DJ and the band that followed. At around 8:00 pm, they completely cleared the entire large outdoor seating area (where some people were still eating), removing all the tables and chairs. The Rusty Rudder is at 113 Dickenson Ave., smack on the Rehoboth Bay, to the right of the Hyatt Place/Ruddertowne Complex in Dewey Beach. They gave you a decent portion but the meat was just slightly warm. Rusty Rudder is located at 113 Dickinson Street, Dewey Beach DE 19971. They charge you $10 to park in the parking lot but then take that fee off your bill when you show your parking receipt. We decided to try this place while staying nearby in Bethany Beach for dinner one evening. My husband's main entry of Rockfish was okay (his words) but was also barely warm. Not only the crabcake and rockfish fingers lousy, the coleslaw was terrible. I have NEVER sent an order back, but boy was I tempted to. The restaurant provides asparagus salad, grilled chicken, shrimp cocktail, seared tuna, sandwiches, steamed clams, onion rings, french fries. It specializes in serving seafood items and salads, as well as offers breakfast, lunch and dinner menus. Maybe they sat on the counter waiting to be brought to our table, I don't know. Rusty Rudder is a restaurant that provides a range of casual dining and entertainment options. You are basically deep frying the entrees and plating them. First of all, it was barely warm and I couldn't understand because I got the fried seafood platter. I'm thinking to myself, how can you screw up a Moscow Mule? I know what goes in one and asked our waiter about it, and even though he recited what should have been in it, it didn't taste like any I ever had so I sent it back and ordered a beer. It started out when I ordered a Moscow Mule that was terrible. This was the end of September and the restaurant was not overly crowded so I cannot say that that was a factor in receiving a bad meal.

Had dinner at the Rusty Rudder with my husband and couldn't have been more disappointed.
